Everything You Need to Know About E-Publishing

Saturday Workshop, November 10th 2012.  St Marks.  10am until 3pm-ish

Join Donna Tunney for a one day workshop on e-publishing.  The topics she will address include: Is e-publishing right for you?  What’s the difference between Indie and Self-publishing? What was her experience with Bandit Creek Books?  What marketing/self-promotion is necessary?  The nitty gritty of transferring your paper manuscript to an e-reader.

Look forward to seeing you all there.  For members only – but there’s still plenty of time to join!

Call for ARWA WWC Writing Workshop Team

ARWA is discussing putting on a How to Write Sexual Tension Writing Workshop at When Words Collide 2013.

If you are interested in being on the team/committee, please e-mail sarah.kades@gmail.com.  WWC is definitely interested, but needs our plan so they can accommodate.  We need a team to create the plan.  Sign up today.

ARWA Writers’ Retreat

Our first writing retreat getaway in Buck Lake was such a success, we want to play again.  A reasonably priced private furnished cabin in the Rocky Mountains is available for rental.

If you are interested in a weekend full of writing, discussion, and straight-up good times, please e-mail sarah.kades@gmail.com.   Dates are TBD so please include what time of year you are interested in and if you would like to help plan.

Lie To Me!

Great turnout for Richard Patzer’s workshop on body language and polygraph testing last night.  What a fascinating session. Will be interesting to see how many of our crime writers use the ‘three whites of the eyes’ in their next book!
