Sue LeBreton has worked in corporate communications for many years in a variety of industries. During her time at home with her children, she was a freelance writer for health publications in Alberta and parenting publications across North America.
Her personal essays have appeared in The Globe and Mail, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Find Your Inner Strength and Mamas Write: 29 Tales of Truth, Wit, and Grit. Her challenging parent journey included diagnoses of childhood cancer, autism and Type 1 Diabetes and sparked her interest in the memoir genre. She has published a book about parenting a child with Type 1 Diabetes and has completed a draft about how using gratitude as a trauma tool helped her cope with her baby’s cancer diagnosis.
LeBreton lives in Calgary with her husband, two young adult children, and two small, fluffy dogs.
