Join our Thursday night session on Conflict and Suspense, presented by Victoria Smith. Based on the book of the same name by James Scott Bell, Victoria will discuss what makes a reader turn pages versus the dreaded ‘putting the book down moment’. She’ll also examine the foundations of conflict, analyze The King’s Speech for suspense and structure, and present some tricks for creating plots with emotionally satisfying conflict.

As this is our last meeting of 2013, we will be announcing our 2014 Winter/Spring programme – and there will be door prizes for everyone!
