Our final workshop for this year is a presentation by author Francine Cunningham. She’s the 2023-24 Distinguished Writer in Residence at the University of Calgary. Using PowerPoint, her presentation will feature writing from an Indigenous perspective with a short writing exercise. Join this online exercise on Saturday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. 
 
Francine is an award-winning writer, artist and educator who is a member of the Saddle Lake Cree Nation in central Alberta. God Isn’t Here Today, her debut collection of short has been longlisted for the 2023 Carol Shields Prize.
